Jeff Dekko, CFP®, CEO of Wealth Enhancement Group, an independent wealth management firm that oversees $63.8B in assets, has been named a finalist for the RIA Intel Awards as CEO of the Year.
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, technology, operations, and finance. He began his career in 1988 with General Mills, Inc., where he served in a variety of senior marketing positions, and as a result, brings a unique marketing lens to wealth management. He assumed the role of CEO at Wealth Enhancement Group in 2003.
In its second year, the RIA Intel Awards program celebrates financial advisors, wealth management firms, leaders, and more by spotlighting the industry’s most influential companies and talent in 2023.
The CEO category recognizes “the chief executive at an RIA – or any company that supports RIAs – that deserves recognition for their ideas, performance, or character.”
Finalists will be selected by the RIA Intel editorial team with support from the RIA Institute’s advisory board and will be announced at a live event in Boston on June 7, 2023.

Nominations for the RIA Intel awards were submitted by industry peers, colleagues, and through self-nominations. Finalists were evaluated and determined by the RIA Intel editorial team with help from the RIA Institute’s advisory board. Jeff Dekko is one of seven finalists in the category of CEO of the Year.
