Mindy Ying

Mindy Ying is a Senior Vice President, Managing Director, and Financial Advisor with over four decades of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multigenerational families. Known for her cross-border expertise and disciplined, fiduciary approach, she specializes in integrating investment strategy, tax efficiency, and legacy planning to help clients preserve and grow wealth across generations.

Mindy began her career in 1980 with Toronto Dominion Bank and Citibank in Taipei, Taiwan, before transitioning into corporate finance roles with Union Oil Company of California and Adobe Oil & Gas Company. She later held senior leadership positions, including Managing Director at Barclays International Private Banking and Vice President of Asian Market Development for First Interstate Bank’s Trust and Investment Management Group, where she advised international clients and led strategic expansion initiatives.

An entrepreneur and builder, Mindy co-founded PacWest Financial Management, Inc., serving as President and Portfolio Manager for over a decade. In 2007, she founded Pillar Pacific Capital Management, which later became part of Wealth Enhancement Group, one of the nation’s leading independent RIA firms. Today, she continues to lead with a client-first philosophy grounded in long-term stewardship, risk management, and evidence-based investing.

Mindy is widely recognized for her leadership, integrity, and commitment to advancing financial literacy—particularly among women and underserved communities. Beyond her advisory practice, she is an active community leader, having served as Trustee of the San Marino Schools Foundation and Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles. She currently serves as an Elder at the First Evangelical Church of San Gabriel and as a board member of the Chinese Evangelical Seminary North America (CESNA), reflecting her deep commitment to faith, service, and community impact.
